I tried Response Insurance for two years on two automobiles I owned. Paid my premiums on time and on the second renewal, was shocked when my rates increased by over 40%. I called and was told that they had to make up losses they suffered in the stock market so rates were going up. I chose to let the policy lapse and did not renew when they sent the bill. Did not hear from them again other than another reminder to pay my bill. About 4 months later I started getting calls and bills from a collection agency for unpaid premiums. I told them my obligations with them ended when the policy expired. They seem to think differently and now I am trying to fight them off. I have yet been provided with any documentation which substantiates their claim. I refuse to pay them and would advise you stay away from Response/Warner Insurance.. |

I was injured by an individual insured w response, it has been more than a week a they still have not responded to my claim. When I contacted them and finally got the adjuster, she acted as if she had no clue and claims she still had not contacted their insured. I contacted my company encompass, on friday at 2:40 pm, they got back to by 4:20. Response is one of the most unresponsive companies to deal with.. |

These people do have some strange policies. I called about a rate quote that was sent to me and we were just about to seal the deal when she asked if there were any other drivers, I stated that my mom sometimes drives the car, but because she doesn't live with me, the girl stated she would have to get special approval for such a thing, and when she came back she stated she was still working on it, as they usually don't insure people under "these circumstances" making it sound as if I were odd because someone else occasionally drives my car??? Not switching to them.. |
