In my opinion, they are one continuing criminal enterprise making money by defrauding the public. They discriminate, deny claims in bad faith, and intentionally breach the contracts they enter into with their "insureds." I use the term insureds loosely here, ie. you think you have coverage, are insured, only to find out when you make a legitimate claim that you have paid premiums for nothing! The BIGGEST game-players around!. |

Bad Customer Service, agent does not return calls and when he does he makes his secretary
do it because she is rude and to the point. Mr.Barron Rahme has no bussiness in selling insurance and has no customer service skills or skills at all. What is funny is that I was willing to work with him if he would only call. But his lack of interest shows he does not care for customers so I will move on.. |

I have had Farmer's Insurance for over 25 years. Several times I was told that if I turned in a claim I would be canceled. I was also told that if I turned in a claim that was denied it would still count against me if I turned in another claim, thus causing termination. Yes, I am an idiot who stayed loyal. They screwed up my billing date then threatened to cancel me for late payment even though I paid before the billing date on the bill. I was told that I should have remember when that policy was due even if the billing date was wrong. Note: They had changed the billing dates both cars which meant that I was billed a month early for my other car which was paid promptly. Loyalty is BS.. |

Bad service, sent a check that was way 10% less than that actual costs to repair the car. When asked about where I could take my car "in my area" to have the repairs done at that price they said they would send me a list via email...never sent it. I'm still in the process of dealing with this claim, will most likley go through my insurance and have them deal with farmers.. |

Horrible service! I have been so over-charged. They charge for cancellation. They even automatically renew the policy and continue the charge as the policy expires without your consent! Never buy insurance from Farmers!. |

My house burnt to the ground on May 4th, I have been waiting patiently since then for payment. Today's date is 8/5/2008. They said they require a lie detector test, I have offered to take one, but the officer said there is a backlog. The fire investigator said the lie decector has no bearing on the insurance paying. Any time I have ever had a claim (every car I have driven has been hit), the claim is dealt with quickly and painlessly. My cars have always been repaired completely and to my satisfaction and I have never had trouble dealing with the insurance company.. |
